Service Terms
The basis on which HEC Writers agrees and delivers projects.
Last updated: 28 October 2026
1. Project scope
Each project’s scope, deliverables, timeline, and price are agreed in writing (for example by WhatsApp or email) before work begins. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately.
2. Quotes and payment
All services are offered by custom quote. Payment terms, including any advance payment, currency, accepted payment methods, and due dates, are set out in each quote and confirmed in writing before work begins. Work begins once any agreed initial payment has been received.
3. Client responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, the materials and access we need, and timely feedback, and you confirm that you have the right to use any materials you supply.
4. Research integrity
Research writing support is based on your original research and verified sources. We do not fabricate data, findings, or citations. Authors remain responsible for the accuracy of their work and for following institutional and journal authorship and disclosure policies. We do not guarantee publication, acceptance, or any originality or similarity score.
5. Marketing, advertising, SEO, and web services
Outcomes such as rankings, traffic, leads, sales, conversions, and return on ad spend depend on many factors and are not guaranteed. Advertising spend is paid by you directly to the platforms and is separate from our fees. Advertising, social, analytics, and store accounts remain in your ownership.
6. Revisions
The number of revision rounds included is stated in each quote. Revisions cover changes within the agreed scope; new or changed requirements are quoted separately.
7. Cancellation and refunds
If you need to cancel a project, please tell us in writing. Any refund is assessed case by case, based on the work completed up to the cancellation date and any third-party costs already incurred. We will confirm the outcome in writing.
8. Confidentiality
We keep your materials and project information confidential and use them only to deliver the agreed service.
9. Intellectual property and handover
Ownership of final deliverables transfers to you once full payment for the project has been received. We will not display your work in our portfolio without your permission.
10. Third-party costs
Domains, hosting, paid themes, apps, plugins, subscriptions, stock assets, and advertising spend are third-party costs unless your quote states otherwise.
11. Ongoing support
Maintenance and ongoing support are provided only under a separate, agreed arrangement.
12. Liability and governing law
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any project is limited to the fees paid for that project. We are not responsible for decisions made by third parties, such as journals, search engines, or advertising platforms. These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan.
